All is peaceful and all too quiet, Except my mind as I lie awake I know the night is watching me my consciousness she's failed to take and laughing the stars rejoice in my discomfort my mind spins me endless thoughts and nothing.. possibilities, and stories.. but not the rest a sweet dream would bring So instead of staying here, still peeking through clouds I'll watch the sun rise forcing night to part with me against her will through the increasingly luminous lavender skies to bring life to the world once more and to re-open all of their eyes.

I wanted to be one of those people who scorch the ground with their intensity. I knew such people, and they needed me, just like comets need tails. Am I Gorgeous? No. -- -- Boring. I was drizzle and she was hurricane. You love the girl who makes you laugh and drinks wine with you. You don't love the crazy, sullen bitch.
